A closed club: Why does Judaism maintain clear boundaries?

Is Judaism a closed club?
Many people perceive Judaism as an "exclusive club." This idea makes it attractive, and some even try to enter through deception. But this is nothing new: in the times of Moses and Joshua, the givonim infiltrated the community through falsehoods and ended up being assigned to service tasks.

The Torah and the necessary separation
The Torah prohibits intermarriage between Israel and other nations. The reason is not disdain for others, but absolute loyalty to Hashem (God), without interference or symbols of idolatry. That is why Jewish cemeteries exist: so that the soul may rest in purity, without eternal shame.

Jews and Bnei Noah: Two Paths to the Same Creator
At Chabad House Ecuador, we maintain a clear distinction between Jewish life and the Bnei Noach community. This is not a matter of exclusion, but of spiritual clarity. Romantic interaction between Jews and Bnei Noach cannot lead to success under divine law.
However, both paths are complementary:
The Jewish people : called to be a “kingdom of priests and a holy people.”
The Bnei Noach : called to live according to the Seven Universal Laws .
Just as in a company each area has its function, or in an army each division fulfills its role, so too Jews and Noachides serve God in different ways, but with the same goal.

The Creator's design and the messianic vision
There is no inferiority in difference. The Creator designed every human being with a purpose. The prophet announced regarding the Temple in Jerusalem: “My house will be called a house of prayer for all nations.”
In the Messianic era , the Noachide precepts spread without fear or restriction, illuminating the world toward justice, righteousness, and divine oneness.
Judaism is not a closed club, but a call to total fidelity to God. Jews and Bnei Noahides walk different paths, but they share the same goal: living with justice, righteousness, and faith in the one Creator.
