Spreading Judaism: A truth that is revealed, not imposed

Why doesn't Judaism proselytize?
Judaism is distinguished by its absence of proselytism. Unlike religions that in the past spread by the sword or through mass calls for conversion, the Torah does not seek to conquer souls. The truth does not need to be imposed; it deserves to be sought. Judaism invites us to discover our authentic identity, rather than to change it.

The value of discovering Jewish identity
According to halacha (Jewish law), many Jews who grew up without religious education are considered “babies captured among the nations.” They didn't cease to be Jews; they simply lacked education.
After World War II, the Lubavitcher Rebbe urged every Jew to share their knowledge and faith, using every means possible—including television—to spread the Torah and bring light back to those who had lost it.

Chabad Lubavitch and the spread of Judaism
The Chabad-Lubavitch movement, which has always spread Hasidism (teachings about divinity), became a beacon of basic Judaism under the Rebbe's guidance.
The goal is not to convert, but to reveal what we already are:
The Jew , by reconnecting with his mitzvot (commandments).
The non-Jew , by living like Ben Noaj , son of Noah, fulfilling the seven universal laws.
Thus, all humanity can reconnect with its essence and spiritual purpose.

True pride in life
The Rebbe taught that we should not take pride in money, possessions, or talents. The only legitimate pride is serving God authentically.
Spreading Judaism means inspiring others by example, being a beacon of light in the family, in society, and at work. The mission is not to impose, but to illuminate.
