The Process of Human Purification and the Path to Redemption

A reflection on Israel, justice, spiritual identity, and the calling of the Children of Noah.

In recent years, we have witnessed a massive phenomenon on social media: a constant confrontation between those who hate Israel and those who love it, arguing with or without factual basis. Social media, of course, is the biggest beneficiary of this conflict. In the physical world, encounters require respect and coexistence, while the virtual world allows for anonymous actions, causing harm without consequence. Thus, people feel free to attack and incite, abandoning social norms, intellectual honesty, and the need for logical argument. "Cursed is he who strikes his neighbor in secret," says the Holy Torah, referring to those who strike in the dark, taking advantage of the shadows for revenge or what they consider their own private justice, instead of facing the facts in a public trial. Those who act this way start from the premise that there is no justice in the world, which is equivalent to saying that there is no God, living in chaos and the law of the jungle, a lynching of everyone against everyone.

• From David vs. Goliath to the Reversal of the Narrative.

Before 1967, the world watched small, defenseless Israel defeat five large Arab armies, rich in oil and manpower. It was like the young shepherd David who, through the power of his faith, defeated the giant Goliath, armed, trained, and protected by armor: a true miracle.

Since then, things have changed. Israel has also become an economic miracle thanks to hardworking people and divine inspiration for inventing efficient technologies that improve our world, making it more accessible, of higher quality, more abundant, healthier, and easier for everyone. In the military sphere, there have also been unique successes and patents, and it is then that many are frightened by the idea of decisive military superiority. From that moment on, the narrative was reversed: the press portrayed the "Palestinian David" versus the "Israeli Goliath," and the mainstream media rushed to buy into this narrative in the name of a false equality, returning to ancient hatred in modern garb. They are not bothered by the existence of Jews in general, but they cannot tolerate the sovereign Jew, the one who wields a weapon to defend his people and his land—that is, the Zionist.

Only those familiar with the texts of the Tanakh (the Hebrew Bible) can see the return of the people of Israel to their land and their military and economic success as part of a process of divine redemption. Those who haven't absorbed the foundations of their ethics religiously—through the study of the Quran or the Christian New Testament, which derive their existence from the Holy Torah—lack a point of reference for true justice. For them, justice is synonymous with a mathematical equality that, in reality, is impossible in any dimension. Even in the spiritual realm, there is always the giver and the receiver, roles that are interchangeable in many ways: the act of giving is also receiving, and receiving is vital for the giver. Therefore, a rigidly patriarchal system or a chauvinistic world is unrealistic in an order where genders need each other in their essence to achieve a perfection greater than the sum of their parts.

• "The world will be built on kindness."

"The world will be built upon kindness" (Olam Chesed Ibaneh), says the Torah. This means that without kindness, the microcosm that is humankind has no right to exist. This was the Creator's starting point in designing the universe, and we must emulate it with our actions. The people of Israel possess innate qualities in their spiritual "DNA" described in the Torah: they are modest, compassionate, and doers of kindness. There is countless evidence of this, but one need only look at the reason Hitler—Israel's greatest enemy—gave to justify the genocide: he hated human conscience, something that does not exist in material evolution and that the Jews spread throughout the world through the Torah.

To tell the truth, that damned man's mission to "cleanse the world of Jews" failed. Light and good ultimately triumphed, and they always will, even when all hope seems lost. Just as in the generation of righteous Noah, when justice and honesty among creatures seemed impossible on the surface, in the end only the righteous survived—those who raised themselves and their families believing in divine goodness, regardless of their surroundings.

The same is happening in our generation: a process of human purification is underway in which everyone can and must choose a side. Do they belong to the God of Israel, to eternal justice and honesty, or do they, in the name of "justice" or in the name of Allah, choose to oppose the existence of the chosen people of Israel and their secure settlement in the Promised Land?

• The Crucible of History and the Path of the Sons of Noah.

This process is described by the prophets as the refining of gold from the earth. At first, everything is mixed together, and it is impossible to distinguish good from evil. This is the effect of original sin, which contaminated humanity and the world by mixing purity with impurity. The Holy Torah is the clarifying agent, just as the ore undergoes various processes: water, chemicals, smelting, gravity, and more. As the process unfolds, the difference between good and evil becomes evident, separating the gold (metaphorically speaking) from the dust that will soon be cast into the dustbin of history.

This is the era of messianic times and the advancement of the redemption process led worldwide by the Lubavitcher Rebbe, the Messiah King. Today we see how people identify with identities contrary to their own nature (like a man who identifies as a woman) or hide behind the "value" of equality—which is nowhere written in that sense—to plunder public coffers. Someone might even identify as religious and holy to unleash the lowest and most animalistic desires for murder and pillage, like the Islamic Republic of Iran, which ruled for almost fifty years, or the ISIS caliphate, which trained innocent children to commit cruel murder on camera, violating all the commandments of its own religion and using drugs to numb the pain or fear of death.

False religions are exposed by their actions. This happened with the Christian monks and priests who claimed to abstain from sex, contrary to human nature and divine mandate, and ended up revealing themselves as destroyers of children's souls, whose innocence was defiled by perverse abuses committed by supposedly holy men. The disillusionment with false religions is entirely understandable, but the drift toward atheism does not improve morality; rather, it unleashes the restraints. Without the divine presence, human beings become terribly savage, worse than any beast of prey, because they become their own god, subjectively dictating, according to their own self-interest, the laws of good and evil.

"Thank God, I don't have a religion," I've heard young people from Catholic backgrounds say. This expression reflects their disillusionment with institutional religions, but, on the other hand, it reveals a deeper, inner connection with the God who created and guides His world.

This is the status of Noah's son (Ben Noah) in the world. Catholicism spoke to him of the Ten Commandments—altered by the Church without any intention or real possibility of fulfilling them—while offering him stories of idols and forgiveness of sins in exchange for money. It is a religion designed to make man perceive himself as an eternal sinner, emotionally captive, seeking absolution in the love and mercy of the idol he worships. This is the attachment to the "wrong Jew," born from a subconscious that longs to be spiritually bound to the holy people.

Muhammad, another false prophet, like Christianity, gained followers by force of arms. He absorbed his original knowledge from a Jewish scribe who taught him, blending it with ancient paganism (reflected in the Black Stone of Mecca). He devised a less sophisticated religion that emphasizes controlling instincts through fasting during Ramadan, exaggerated modesty, total abstinence from alcohol, and five daily prayers facing Mecca. These religions aim for physical control of the world by subjugating infidels, mistakenly drawing inspiration from Joshua's conquest of Canaan, whose goal was to eradicate idolatry and establish a territory where God's laws—the Seven Laws of the Nations—would be fully observed.

The ways of God are hidden, and we cannot presume to understand them. Yet Maimonides (the Rambam) asks with sorrow about the existence of these religions that promise redemption but, in practice, brought mourning, pain, humiliation, and dispersion to the people of Israel. His answer is utterly surprising: the divine purpose in the spread of Christianity and Islam is to pave the way for the Messiah King.

When he reveals himself, all of humanity will already be familiar with three fundamental concepts:

1. The Torah

2. The Commandments (Mitzvot)

3. The Messiah

Although humanity—even the most remote tribes—learned these concepts in a completely distorted way, thanks to this understanding they can easily break free from the chains of misrepresentation and join the religion of truth. Regarding the Torah, they argue today that it was given to Israel at Sinai, but that this covenant was replaced by God and is no longer relevant, since there is now a "New Testament" or a Quran.

Regarding the commandments, they are either utterly disregarded or distorted into demands impossible for human beings. And regarding the Messiah, he has logically been supplanted by false messiahs who do not save, and whose suffering in the world of truth increases as their followers worship them in this world.

We must free ourselves from the chains of the past and move towards ideological freedom; not unethical libertinism, but a real connection with the roots of justice and human righteousness, symbolized by Noah and his sons, the survivors of the flood.

This is the call to join this truth within the community of the Children of Noah (Bnei Noaj) , with an authentic spiritual identity that rises above generations of errors, choosing by free will to stand on the side of God, the Creator of us all and the conductor of the universe.

In the absence of God, man becomes infamously savage and worse than any beast of prey, for he sets himself up as his own god, dictating the laws of good and evil in his life subjectively and biasedly, according to his own interests. Stalin is the perfect example: a man who rejected all higher authority and became the sole source of morality, resulting in twenty million deaths deemed "necessary" according to his biased judgment.

These religions claim to physically dominate the world and subjugate non-believers to their faith, mistakenly drawing inspiration from the conquest of the land by Joshua, son of Nun. But this conquest was entirely different: its objective was not domination or honor, but the establishment of a territory where the Creator's laws—the Seven Commandments of Noah—could be fully implemented and serve as an example for all humanity. These are the instructions of the Creator of the world, given through Moses in the Torah, and living in accordance with them—and only in accordance with them—will bring true justice and perfect harmony among all peoples.
